Band Elzevir was created in 2007 by Alex Louder under name Hogwarts. It was a folk death metal music with very strange and
crazy experimental theme for songs - Harry Potter. Band recorded demo album with 9 tracks.
Name Elzevir was taken in 2009.
Music turned to melodic death metal with symphonic arrangements and folk parts.
Album Rise From Knees was recorded in 2009 but released only in 2011.
